Colatina
Nous avons passé quelques jours à Vitoria, garés devant la Capitainerie des Ports et à deux pas d’un super restaurant. Nous avons goûté la fameuse "moqueca capixaba". Un plat de fruits de mer et poisson avec differentes sauces - un régal !!
We spent a couple of days in Victoria,parked in front of the "capitania dos portos",at 20m from a great restaurant.We trried the famous "moqueca capixaba".It's a fish and sea fruits dish,with cooked bananas,and various vegetables and sauces :just great!
L’endroit est tranquille, surveillé 24h/24 et près d’un electricien nautique - ça tombait bien, on avait des problèmes avec les batteries de la partie habitation, qui étaient souvent en alarme, malgré les heures de conduite. Après diagnostique, la fatalité !: nous devions acheter 2 nouvelles batteries de 100 ampères - dur ,dur pour le budget.....
The place is quiet,watched 24 h/day,and near a serie of nautic specialists,among them an electrician.Just in time :we were having troubles with our "house" batteries,which wouldn't load any more.The diagnostic fell :both wasted out.2 new 100 A batteries,a hole in our budget...
Après les réparations et au hasard de la route, nous avons trouvé le Pesque et Pague de M. Manuel et D. Teresa.
After the repairs, by a turn of the road,almost at night fall,we found the "pesque e pague"(fish and pay) from Mr Manuel and Dona Teresa.
M. Manuel, est né dans la maison qu’il habite encore, et à 79 ans il n’a jamais quitté l’Ètat d'Espirito Santo où il habite.Il se charge de laver les verres du restaurant famillial et du ratissage matinal. PHOTO LAVER LES VERRES
Mr Manuel with 79 years old,still lives in the house where he born,and never left the espirito Santo state.He is in charge of the glasses cleaning at the restaurant,and of the early morning raking.
En endroit fort sympathique où nous avons été très bien accueilis. Nous avons pu goûter à la cuisine traditionelle - farofa, feijoada, churrasco, feijao, tapioca....... préparés par D. Teresa et D. Maria la cuisinère.Nous avons découvert cette famille atachante qui travaille ensemble le temps d’un WE, malgré les occupations personnelles de chacun.
A very friendly place,were we've benn nicely welcomed.There we could try a traditional meal at the restaurant:farofa,feijoada,churrasco,feijao,tapioca.....
All that and much more freshly prepared by D. Teresa and D. Maria-the cook.
We discovered there a very friendly family,working all together each WE,even while having all them own life further away.

et Eric à discuté vieux vélos avec un des fils de M. Manuel,
and Eric talked about antic bicycles with one of M. Manuel sons.
Nous avons quitté les lieux avec de bons souvenirs et nous avons été gatés avec le pic-nic pour le voyage. Que des bons souvenirs.
We left the place with plenty nice feelings,and have been spoilt with a generous Pic Nic for the road.So many good memories...
Nous avons ensuite visite la Laguna Juparana, où nous avons passé la nuit.
Later on,we visited the Juparana lake,where we spent the night.
