Arriving t Chile went fall dawn on the terms again. In fact is more a warm water source than a SPA, as they call it.

We enjoy to relax in the warm water in spite of the cloudy day.

But the poor Daisy, had a hard time, once she could not joint in....

she could only lick the water.......

We meet two couples, Edgardo and Raquel and Scarlet and Ronaldo, that told us about the surrounding and what was nice to see. Edgardo and Raquel were on holidays and they propose to meet in two days to show us around Valdivia.

We had a nice walk around Valdivia market in spite of the rain, when we meet to days later.

We went for lunch in a small seaside village, Molinos.

The day went on very quick and by the end of it we ‘re invited to stay at Edgardo and Raquel’s place and to eat « assado » - the grilled sheep.

 

We spend the weekend at them place, in Pitrufquen . Very nice, simple and friendly people. We had assado, as planned, and Raquel’s mother delight us with local food - torta frita, calcao roto - fried sweet cakes based on flower. 

Edgardo & Raquel have to children, Helton & Alexandra, that went on quite well our girls.

Monday we spend a nice afternoon at the riverside.

When the moment come to say goodbye the all at humid eyes. What a strange moment with so strong feelings…

After our experience in the Chilien Patagonia, we’re gladly surprise to see that from Conaripe on, near the terms, the road was on very good shape. The is hightway that relies the nord and the south of the country. The first time they make us paid as a small van so Eric managed to make the price go down when the guy wanted to make us paid as a truck, once we don’t have double whells. Just for the principle because the diference from 1900 pesos and 3400 pesos is something like 1,5€……

We left the hightway after Temuco and the took the regular road to the seaside - Lebu. The landscape is vey nice with eucalyptus and pine trees. It make me thing a lot of Portugal. We arrived to Lebu in time to see the fisherman to live. Otherwise Lebu is a small village without interest. Only the seaside is beautiful. Wild and without buildings.
