The first fear!
On Sunday the 2sd November Tartaruga got her first ride on a hearth road. Everything was going fine: Just that it shakes more than is usual.
When the night arrived, bringing at the same time the rain, we found a place to sleep at parking for truck drivers that had showers. The guy that was taking care of the place call Eric “ querido” ( that means “dear”) a couple of times and toll him where he sleep in case we need something. Of course we didn’t miss to make fun with him all the evening.
The day after, we follow our way on a wet and slid road.
I was quite anxious about it when I began to feel the truck sliding so I stayed at the back seat trying to read. The two girls where in front, finding it quite funny not aware of the danger. Eric was doing it quite fine, driving very carefully. When we’re almost at the end of the heart way, Tartaruga slide one’s more and this time we goy stuck in the mud.
Here are the photos that tell the history.

It took us almost two hours to get out of the there.
I have to say that we were all very proud of ourselves.
Two guy at stop by to give a hand and they said we’d need a tractor to get out of the mud. And one of them proposes to pass by in the afternoon to take us out. Once we had nothing to lose Eric propose that we went on trying, what we did. And we managed! Everybody give a hand, and idea that help it to go forward. We kept all a good humour saying that we’re lucky that we had food and water enough to wait that it dried! ...
We joined the road, after a light meal and a quick clean to our material, and we decided to buy a good shovel, to replace the Boy Scout that we have.
